1.Launching the “Alphanam Green Foundation”
On the morning of November 13, 2016, the Alphanam Green Foundation was launched in Golden City An Giang Urban Area. It was based on the desire to raise the awareness of people in the Delta River on issues such as environmental pollution and sustainable development with the hope to contribute to the construction of green, clean and beautiful cities. The launch event was received the support and participation of many people and youth union members in Long Xuyen city. Within the framework of the launch ceremony, Alphanam Green Foundation has also launched the campaign “For a green, clean and beautiful An Giang” with activities such as the “Green Destination” running competition combining the garbage removal on the streets in Long Xuyen and “Recycling Festival”. Alphanam Group has awarded 3 scholarships to the fastest returning team and collected a lot of waste and recyclables along the running route and awarded 500 gifts including: Green trees, recycling books for people to participate in the festival.

2. The “Delta Youth Action Forum”
Following the success of the launch ceremony, from November 14 – 16, 2016, Alphanam Green Foundation organized the Delta Youth Action Forum, with the participation of 30 youth leaders from provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region. The forum took place in 3 days with 6 topics around: Climate change, sustainable energy, project management, building communication campaigns…
After the Forum, Alphanam Green Foundation launched the fund “Green, clean and beautiful An Giang Initiative”, encouraging youth organizations, student groups and local people to propose projects. Golden City has set aside VND 3 billion over 3 years to finance the fund’s activities.
In addition, Alphanam Green Foundation will regularly organize forums, seminars and workshops to raise the awareness of local youth on issues such as environmental pollution and sustainable development with the hope to contribute to the construction of green, clean and beautiful cities.
