The Campaignes in 2021

1. The Campaign in Hanoi “ZERO-DONG MINI SUPERMARKET” The program “Zero-dong mini supermarket” is operated by Alphanam Green Foundation in Thanh Oai district, Hanoi city from August 24, 2021 to August 26, 2021 and in Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi city from August 28, 2021 to August 29, 2021. The organizers have awarded more than 2000 vouchers with a total value of up to VND 800,000,000. At the same time, Alphanam Green Foundation has dedicated 5 tons of rice to Binh Minh and Cao Vien communes – two extremely difficult communes of Thanh Oai district, In addition, they gave 1 ton of rice to support disadvantaged circumstances affected by the pandemic in Khai Thai commune, Phu Xuyen district. The sharing and warming are being spread so that no one is left behind and forgotten during the Covid-19 pandemic. 2. The booth campaign “AVOIDING WASTE, SHARING TOGETHER” This campaign is part of the series of activities to celebrate International Women’s Day March 8, the ” AVOIDING WASTE, SHARING TOGETHER ” booth of the Alphanam Green Foundation and Alphanam Company Union has received a lot of enthusiastic support from the Alphanam family. There are many items sent to the Organizing Committee included clothes, cosmetics, household items, technological items and also cash, each item is a precious heart. In particular, the proceeds will be used for the Alphanam Green Foundation’s study promotion project to promptly encourage the cases of Alphanam Group’s employees childrens who have outstanding achievements. 3. The campaign “SOW THE LAND AMONG THE GREAT SAPA” On the morning of February 27, 2021, the launch of the campaign ” Sow The Land Among The Great Sapa ” jointly organized by Alphanam Green Foundation, Alphanam Group and Muong Hoa Project Management Board took place in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province. In response to the message “For a green Vietnam” launched by the Prime Minister, the campaign ” Sow The Land Among The Great Sapa ” is a practical action of the Board of Directors of Alphanam Group in order to carry out the development mission with the highest benefits for Alphanam and the community, alongside the goal of sustainable development that is the moral compass for the activities of the Alphanam Green Foundation. Implementing Muong Hoa project, Alphanam Group is particularly keen on protecting natural landscapes, moreover contributing to planning tree to cover soil erosion land, creating green forest in Sa Pa, improving the ecological environment. The campaign ” Sow The Land Among The Great Sapa ” has contributed to creating a clean living space, in harmony with nature for the land known as “Sapa – where the earth meets the sky’’, contributing positively in the process of building and developing the country.

The Campaignes in 2020

1. Accompanying GREEN HAPPINESS to participate in the project “AFFORESTATION – SAVING LAND” in Soc Trang province. In July 2020, Alphanam Green Foundation urged Alphanam Group employees to contribute photos of Alphanam Group during the period from 1995 to 2020 to the photo collection “Alphanam – a quarter century”. We converted the corresponding amount of money to participate in a meaningful activity for the environment, which is to subsidize greenery to the project ” AFFORESTATION – SAVING LAND ” of the “Green Happiness” program in Soc Trang province 2. Support meals for patients who are in quarantine at Bach Mai Hospital. In April 2020, thousands of doctors and patients of Bach Mai Hospital were locked down, the complicated of Covid-19 epidemic as the results there is no one can go out and in hospital. Bach Mai hospital faced to plenty of difficulties that the nurseries and doctors have to isolated in their home and be impossible to change shifts. Meanwhile the number of patients who were needed look after reaching more than 1000. One of the most difficult problems faced by Bach Mai Hospital is ensuring nutrition for patients and medical teams, because the unit supplying food to the hospital is identified as the source of infection. With the desire to support the hospital, Alphanam Green Foundation has collaborated with VIREX JSC to aid 3,500 meals for Bach Mai hospital. The gift is not materially large hoping to help doctors and patients be provided with adequate nutrition to be healthy enough to fight the disease. With the aspiration to spread the spirit of mutual love, the small gift of Alphanam Green Foundation and VIREX JSC is a message to all patients, nurses and doctors of Bach Mai hospital that people are not alone in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, we will fight together so that “no one is left behind”.

The Campaignes in 2019

1. The Project “New Playground for An Giang Children” In An Giang, the Alphanam Green Foundation has sponsored 3 new playgrounds for children in 3 districts of Phu Tan, Thoai Son and Tri Ton so as to help them have a healthier learning and play environment. 2. The Project ” Full moon Festival in Yen Bai Mountain Region” During the “Full moon Festival in Yen Bai Mountain Region” was organized by the Military Radio and Television Center, Alphanam Green Foundation representing Alphanam Group awarded schools in the province with 2 water purifiers worth up to VND 100 million to supply clean water to more than 800 students here. 3. The campaign “Let’s Clean The Sea in 2019” Alphanam Green Foundation has accompanied Four Points By Sheraton Hotel to support the amount of 100 million VND in response to the campaign in 2019 named “Let’s Clean the Sea” which was launched by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The campaign has made a strong impact, raising the awareness of the people of the coastal city on the protection of the marine environment, prevention of littering. 4. The Project “Green Happiness” Accompanying the project “Green Happiness”, Alphanam Green Foundation has advocated the amount of VND 50 million to plant 10,000 cork trees in Cu Lao Dung area. This is an area that is affected by the phenomenon of landslides and erosion, causing the quality of cultivated land to be unstable, directly affecting people’s lives. A “green shield” with 10,000 cork trees planted here will have positive impacts on the environment such as climate regulation, reducing flood effects, preventing landslides and salt penetration, improving the quality of arable land, protecting biodiversity. More importantly, this “green shield” also creates stable and sustainable livelihoods for local people since the great economic value of cork tree has recently discovered. 5. “Giving masks to Alphanam family members” On October 1, 2019, the Alphanam Green Foundation donated masks to Alphanam family members due to the disturbing level of air quality in Hanoi.

The Campaignes in 2018

1. The Campaign “Recycling ride” The recycling ride has a journey through 10 points in Long Xuyen cities to collect electronic waste such as batteries, phones, light bulbs and so on, in order to be recycled using modern technology in Ho Chi Minh City. As usual, The waste which is said about is plastic, however electronic waste has not been given much attention while this is one of the most recyclable waste. The campaign demonstrates the efforts of the Alphanam Green Foundation and Golden City An Giang Urban Area to change people’s awareness of electronic waste and contribute to protecting the green – clean – beautiful environment, and creating a prosperous – civilized community in Long Xuyen city. 2. The Campaign “Towards Yen Bai” On July 18, 2018, Shan Jing Hurricane landed on the mainland, one of the provinces that suffered the most from this hurricane was Yen Bai province. There are a lot of people died and lost, 119 houses were completely washed away, 161 houses were severely damaged, 3,356 houses were flooded, roofed, all crops, livestock and poultry of the people drifted along the flood water. The total damage estimated by Yen Bai now amounts to more than VND 200 billion. With a spirit of mutual friendliness and practical contribution to the community, Alphanam Green Foundation launched the campaign “Towards Yen Bai” after 3 days of typhoon landing to raise funds to support and share difficulties with people in Yen Bai. The campaign has raised nearly 1.5 billion VND from 32 philanthropists in domestic and abroad. Relief people after the flood. After mobilizing the amount of 1.5 billion, Alphanam Green Foundation immediately donated 1 billion VND to support the people of Yen Bai province to promptly overcome the consequences of the storm. 3. Building Anti – Flood Houses In parallel with the relief, the Alphanam Green Foundation also went to investigate the reality of the damage after the storm. We decided to use the remaining 420 million VND to build houses for the families who were seriously suffered by the flood. In particular, the sponsored households include: – Ms. Cu Thi Ca – Mau Dong commune, Van Yen and Yen Bai districts, Ms. Ca has 4 young children, 3 daughters and 1 son, the oldest child is 11 years old who are living in a very shabby and crowded house. Your husband died a few years ago, leaving the burden on her shoulders. Moreover, her circumstances were even worse because she had pneumonia and severe kidney stones, very weak health, she could not work hard. As the consequences, most days she just picks up anything which everyone feeds and gives. She did not often have enough money to buy rice and medicine to take care of herself as well as her children. The new house that Alphanam Green Foundation built for her will help the whole family lead a less miserable life. – Ms. Hoang Thi Hoi, Ngoi A Commune, Van Yen district. Ms. Hoi is a single mother raising 2 children, her body is thin and weak heath, malnourished, she only depends on the amount of 270 thousand VND per month and a small field to live through the day. With the house sponsored by the Alphanam Green Foundation, we hope that it will help her and children raising their living standard – Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Yen Hung commune, Van Yen district, Ms. Phuong and her little daughter are living in a small house at the lowest of the hill which belongs her brother because her old house on the bank of the river was completely washed away in a great flood. Ms. Phuong works as a freelancer, the income is not stable, there is fewer jobs in the winter harvest and she only earns enough money to eat for the two children over the day, she has to borrow a lot money for her children to go to school. A new house is hopefully a good beginning so that she can live and do business with peace of mind, and have warmer winter. – Mr. Nong Vu Hiep in Dong Cuong Commune, Van Yen District. There are 4 people in Hiep’s family, they belonging to the poor of the commune. Both he and his wife has to go to work far away to earn money raising their children for school. Shan Jing Hurricane caused a great flood of history that destroyed completely his house. The new house that the grant fund will help his family to get over difficulties, so that the spouse can feel free and peace go to work so that the children do not worry about early evening rain. – Mr. Vu Xuan Hiep – Nghia Xuan village, Xuan Ai commune, Van Yen district, Mr. Hiep’s house is the last family that we decided to build a loving house. His wife died of depression as poverty tormented her for so long. She left him alone to raise four young children. His family’s situation is even more difficult because his health is not good enough, there are few rented places, and there is no house or land to live. The house he staying in is supported by a loving villager to take refuge day after day. Fortunately, when the Alphanam Green Foundation proposed to the commune to build him a new more solid house, in the village, there was a person who donated a place for his family to build house.  

The Campaignes in 2017

Motivated by the Youth Forum to act on the Mekong Delta, the Green, Clean and Beautiful An Giang Initiative Fund has received many applications, thereby selecting 23 best projects to participate in the preliminary round. Based on the results of the Reviewing Round of Alphanam Green Foundation (held on February 28, 2017) at Golden City An Giang, 7 excellent projects were selected for funding, including: 1. The Project “Development of Nam Ba Ve Drug Garden” The project proposes to expand 13,000 square meters of dry coconut land and install irrigation systems throughout this area in Ba Ve (Cho Moi district, An Giang). During two weeks, the project attracted 80 volunteers and the interest of many press agencies. The project contributed to An Giang: – 100 species of sample medicinal plants on the area of 50m2 – 12,000 square meters of shallow coconut – 1,000 square meters of climbing spikes – 2,000 meters of installed water pipes & watering system including 3 pumps 2 HP. 2. The Project “Turning dumping ground into a flower garden” The project brings solutions to improve the urban landscape of 3 areas gathering informal dumping ground in An Giang with recyclable and friendly environmental materials at the following points: Pham Van Dong Street, Nguyen Du Street, the foot of Nguyen Thai Hoc Bridge. The project has attracted the participation of nearly 20 local volunteers and contributed to the renewal of the appearance of Long Xuyen city, the unregulated garbage gathering places have exchange into multicolored flower gardens. The project has changed the perception of the people of Long Xuyen city on the waste treatment issue more suites in accordance with regulations. In particular, more than 2 years from the beginning of implementation, the project has spread and been implemented in many other cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong and so on. 3. The Project “Installation of water purification system in the alum polluted area of An Giang province” An Giang is one of the provinces bordering the sea, many brackish water areas, people have to live with the alum polluted water all around year. Meanwhile, many households face with difficult economic circumstances doing not have funds to buy water purification tanks, using alum polluted water affect directly for their health. Under funding from the Alphanam Green Foundation, the project has awarded 6 water purification tanks to households in Vinh Loi Hamlet, Vinh Phuoc Commune, Tri Ton District. Volunteers also conducted instructions for the people of Vinh Loi Hamlet how to filter alum polluted water. This is one of the strongly human projects to improve the daily life of the people here. 4. The Project “Solar Bottle” Through find information and understanding the suffering of extremely disadvantaged households in An Cu, Tinh Bien and An Giang communes – one of the remote communes, many disadvantaged households do not have money to cover the cost of installing electricity from the national grid. The project has installed 10 models for 10 households in An Cu commune, 38 people from these households no longer have to worry about running out of oil, besides children have more lights to study in the evening. In addition, the Environmental Extracurricular Festival also helped raise awareness of students about environmental protection in Tinh Bien district.    5. The Project “Clean Biogas for An Giang” Biogas tunnel is one of the solutions that households are encouraged to build to take advantage of natural fuel used as a combustion or lighting agent and reduce pollution from livestock waste. However, raw Biogas is judged not to be good for human health because there are still odors and toxic gases mixed. In order to improve this natural energy source for the people, the project has installed 250 Biogas Nano filters for 7 districts in An Giang: Chau Phu, Phu Tan, Chau Thanh, Thoi Son, Tinh Bien, New Market and An Phu. These filters help filter Biogas for cooking, lighting, heating, hot water and running generators, with a capacity of 1.2 KW per household.
