On the morning of June 9, 2022, the training program “Wall and ceiling solution construction techniques” for A79’s architects and department members took place at the headquarter, 108 Nguyen Trai, Hanoi. The program is organized by A79 and had the participation of Mr. Nguyen Tuan – Technical expert of Saint-Gobain Group Vietnam.

Saint-Gobain Vietnam is a French corporation operating in the field of designing, manufacturing and distributing building materials based in Vietnam. Currently, Alphanam has been using Vinh Tuong ceiling – drywall system, a trademark of Saint-Gobain Vietnam, for most of its construction works, typically King Palace Building at 108 Nguyen Trai.
Therefore, A79 cooperated with Saint-Gobain Vietnam to organize a specialized technical training program for A79’s interior designers and other department members.
Introducing the experts and attendees
At the opening remark, Mr. Nguyen Tuan shared about the system of bare bones – walls, drywall system, panel system according to each functional space, and categorized accessories. This general knowledge helps attendees grasp the strengths and weaknesses of different types of systems as well as materials selection and application to suitable projects.

The presentation became more interesting and exciting when entering the part 2- principles and construction methods with correct technique to create aesthetics and economic benefit. At this part, the attendees had the opportunity to ask many good and interesting questions, and the expert also explained common errors and construction notes very specifically and in detail.
